Laura McFerrin

CEO

Laura McFerrin is the founder and CEO on Benchmark Legal Media. She started the company in 2004, and has served as a hot seat operator on thousands of cases, helping attorneys present evidence clearly and effectively in the courtroom.

Before founding Benchmark Legal Media, she worked for Dr. Phil at Courtroom Sciences, Inc. Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications Arts from Austin College in Sherman, Texas.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and watching her children perform in theater productions.

Nic Harper

CTO

Nic Harper is the CTO and Operations Manager of Benchmark Legal Media. Since joining the company in 2011, he has played a key role in integrating cutting-edge technology with dependable operational support to help ensure every project runs smoothly.

Known for his level-headed approach under pressure, Nic supports trial teams by making sure the technology behind each presentation works seamlessly when it matters most.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his son, hiking with his family, and playing music.
